Product Description For 6" Concrete Screw For Trackout Control Mat

The 6" Concrete Screw is a purpose-built anchoring solution engineered for securing the FODS Trackout Control System on hard substrates such as concrete and asphalt. Its heavy-duty construction delivers strong, reliable holding power that prevents Trackout Control Mats from shifting under vehicle load, braking force, or acceleration, ensuring a stable and compliant trackout control setup. Each screw is designed for easy installation using common jobsite tools, including a rotary hammer drill with a 3/4" concrete bit and a heavy-duty impact wrench. To ensure optimal performance, the screws should be tightened only until flush with the top of the mat, preventing unnecessary compression and allowing for natural expansion and contraction. When installing on rigid surfaces, a 2" gap between mats must be maintained to accommodate thermal movement.
