Outrigger Pads / Crane Mats

Outrigger pads are heavy-duty safety plate placed under the stabilizing legs of heavy equipment like cranes, bucket trucks, and concrete pumps. Its primary purpose is to distribute the machine's massive weight over a larger surface area, preventing the stabilizers from sinking into soft ground or damaging pavement. By reducing ground pressure, these pads prevent dangerous equipment tip-overs and ensure a stable, secure work environment. Typically made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), modern pads are lightweight, waterproof, and highly resistant to cracking or splintering.
